Software/Data Engineer (Low/No Code)

Remote – Canada
Must be flexible to work with partial overlap to PST time zones.

We are looking for a versatile and forward-thinking Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of software solutions, including low code, custom code, and cloud-based applications.

Required competencies include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to explore innovative technologies to consistently achieve desired results

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Self-starter who actively takes initiative to correct issues with systems

Required technical qualifications include:
3 - 5 years of experience in Software Engineering (Python, JavaScript, No Code / Low Code)
Experience with Software Development and Data Management principles and practices
Experience working with current web-based technologies and infrastructure
Experience with reporting visualization tools such as Tableau, SEEQ
Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
Knowledge of Windows and Linux computer systems


Preferred competencies include:

An understanding of biopharmaceutical process manufacturing practices

Experience working with GxP validated systems

Experience with information management systems, data historians, business intelligence, or data warehousing tools

Familiarity with batch manufacturing automation controls (e.g. RSBatch)

Preferred technical qualifications include:

LowCode/NoCode tools such as Tulip Interfaces, Quickbase, etc.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
